Viola C. Roth

Viola C. Roth age 98 of Chardon died Jan. 17, 2012 at the Residence of Chardon. Born July 22, 1913 in Cleveland, OH to Charles and Catherine (nee: Reese) Chaffman, she was a longtime resident of Maple Hts. prior to moving to Twinsburg and finally to Chardon in 2003. Viola was a receptionist in Healthcare Industry and worked for many doctors in Maple Hts. Viola Chaffman married Fred G. Roth on May 20, 1933 in New Cumberland, WV. He preceded her in death in 2000. Viola loved doing needle work, walking, poetry and helping others. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Charles) Neely of Chardon. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Charles and John Chaffman; and sister Alice Barnes.
