Judith W. (nee: Weinland)Thompson age 61 of Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH died April 8, 2013 at UH Main Campus in Cleveland. Born Dec. 27, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA to Rev. Dr. William and Janet (nee: Parks) Weinland, of Sebring, OH; she had been a resident of Northeastern Ohio for 16 years. Judi was a dorm mother with the Andrews School in Willoughby for 9 years. Her greatest joy was being a loving mother and grandmother. Judi is survived by her parents; daughters Tiffany Thompson of Durham, NC and Tawny (Mike) Stephens of Katy, TX; grandchildren Mia and Ryan of Katy, TX; sisters Sharon (Peter) Georges of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Barbara (Gerry) Holmes of Clover, SC, Anne (Dave) Miller of Chardon; many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. MEMORIALSVC: 7pm Wednesday April 10 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South ST. (On Rt. 44, 500' south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OH. GATHERING: 4-7pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
